Ill update to the newer version that came out recently and hope that it will fix my problems. The USB-eLicenser is a copy protection device which is required by certain Steinberg products, including versions of Cubase, Nuendo and WaveLab released before 2022. when checked in windows task manager it always said cubase is not responding and another task of windows that says "checking licenses".Īfaik elicenser control center is not needed for R2R cubase 12 is it? i did and it would go further but later still hang on "checking licenses" not starting up.i reinstalled elicenser control center and it would start up.īut i still get it to freeze randomly sometimes when closing projects or cubase itself or just in the middle of adding a vst or whatever and it would always hang and freeze up. ive seen someone said he solved the problem by deleting or renaming the dll. i then uninstalled elicenser control center and Cubase 12 wouldnt start up anymore hanging on vstconnect.dll. I have r2r cubase 12 installed and i had legit pro 11 before. To be able to see all files and folders, Windows Explorer needs to be set up correctly: Menu Tools (in Windows Vista or later you have to press "Alt" to see the menus) > Folder Options > View > Hidden files and folders > Show hidden files and foldersĪll "SynsoNos", "Synsopos" and "Synsoacc" files Important: Please close all applications before starting the uninstallation!Īfterwards, please verify whether any of these files and folders are still on the system and delete them manually.
